Bridgeport City Website

A clinic in Bridgeport, Connecticut, is closed for 12 days after several employees tested positive for COVID-19.

Bridgeport City Health Director Lisa Morrissey said the Communicable Disease Clinic will be closed until November 10 after two city employees tested positive for the coronavirus.

Contact tracing has begun and is extended to visitors of the clinic that may have been affected.

The state Department of Public Health said it is providing mutual aid to assist on the contract tracing in the city.

Patients will be referred to local health departments in the surrounding towns for the next 14 days.
