Health officials say 40 people, including 32 residents, at a Colchester, Connecticut nursing home tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.
The first positive case at Harrington Court Nursing Home appeared early last week. Now, 40 percent of the residents have tested positive. Officials are still not sure how the virus spread and that the outbreak isn’t contained yet.
Some of the residents that tested positive have been moved to a quarantine facility at Quinnipiac Valley Center. Connecticut’s Department of Public Health has moved a mobile testing unit to Colchester to stay on top of the outbreak.
