Connecticut Primary In Doubt Over Coronavirus Concerns

Connecticut’s Democratic party presidential primary is scheduled for April 28. But Governor Ned Lamont says it might not be held on that date due to the coronavirus outbreak.

“We’ve not made a decision. I have been talking to my fellow governors on that. My hunch is it will be delayed.”

Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, Delaware and Pennsylvania all have their 2020 Democratic primaries scheduled for April 28. It’s called the Acela Primary after the northeast Amtrak train that runs through those states.
