A Suffolk County jury has convicted a woman of criminally negligent homicide after she ran over anti-gang activist Evelyn Rodriguez in 2018.

Annmarie Drago had gotten into an argument with Rodriguez near a memorial for Rodriguez’s 16-year-old daughter who died in an alleged MS-13 attack.

Drago claimed she was mentally distressed when she ran Rodriguez down with her car.

About 20 witnesses gave testimony of the argument during the three week trial.
