Free guided hiking tours will be offered at 15 Connecticut state parks on New Year’s Day. It’s part of a nationwide America’s State Parks First Day Hikes initiative.
The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection staff and volunteers will lead the hikes, which average 1 to 2 miles or longer.
