A second person has come forward with sexual assault allegations against the Riverhead High School principal.

The victim claims the assault occurred nearly 20 years ago when she was on a basketball team coached by Charles Regan.

A legal filing alleges Regan served her alcohol and coerced her into having sex.

The parents of the alleged victim reported suspicious behavior to the Eastport-South Manor School District. They say administrators did not conduct a thorough investigation.

Riverhead schools reassigned Regan in May after an 18-year-old student accused him of sexual assault.
