There are a number of marches and rallies that will be held Saturday in support of the March For Our Lives in Washington.
While the Newtown Action Alliance will head to Washington, marches will be held all throughout the day in Connecticut. East Haddam, Enfield, Kent, Roxbury and West Hartford all get underway at 10:00 a.m.
Stamford’s starts at noon, while Guilford, Hartford, and Shelton’s start at 12:30 p.m.
Pawcatuck and Old Saybrook begin theirs at 2 p.m., and Westport starts later in the evening at 6:30 p.m.
On Long Island, Representatives Peter King, Tom Suozzi and Kathleen Rice will attend a rally in Farmingdale at 11:00 a.m. There are marches in Huntington, Glen Cove, and Stony Brook at the same hour.
Later in the afternoon there will be marches in Port Washington, Port Jefferson, Patchogue, Long Beach, Cedarhurst, Great Neck and Old Westbury.
In addition, there are a number of smaller rallies at high schools throughout the region.
