Dozens of composers have set the libretto to music, and this compilation includes settings by Leonardo Leo, Johann Adolf Hasse, Giuseppe Sarti, Josef Mysliveček, Giovanni Paisiello, Davide Perez, Florian Leopold Gassmann, and many others.
