Today's Beautiful Music is a favorite performance of a favorite composition -- it's something I return to over and over for its extraordinary loveliness. It's Francois Couperin's captivating Les Baricades Mïstérieuses performed by lutenist Thomas Dunford and harpsichordist Jean Rondeau. I especially love the restrained, yearning quality they impart to this mysteriously beautiful piece.
