The familiar Christmas Carol WHAT CHILD IS THIS? came about when 19th century British businessman William C. Dix wrote lyrics to the tune of an old English folk song, GREENSLEEVES. Today's Beautiful Music is the FANTASIA ON GREENSLEEVES by Ralph Vaughan Williams.

Suzanne Bona is the host and executive producer of Sunday Baroque, a nationally syndicated weekly radio show of Baroque and early music which she originated on WSHU in 1987.
