Beautiful Music NOW - Francisco López Capillas

Francisco López Capillas was a musician in Mexico in the 17th century. He's thought to have been born in Mexico City (although some sources suggest he may have been born in Spain) and was active as a church musician -- singer, organist, and composer -- in Mexico City and Puebla. Music of the Americas Director Sebastián Zubieta leads Meridionalis singing IN HORRORE by Francisco López Capillas.

Suzanne Bona is the host and executive producer of Sunday Baroque, a nationally syndicated weekly radio show of Baroque and early music which she originated on WSHU in 1987.
