THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT.

Today, we hear too many incorrect assertions that "hate speech"—which has no generally accepted definition—is either absolutely unprotected or absolutely protected from censorship.

That’s what we’ll explore in two fascinating events with Nadine Strossen, an expert on constitutional law. She will speak in Connecticut and Long Island about HATE, her just-published book, which dispels misunderstandings plaguing our perennial debates about "hate speech vs. free speech." Strossen demonstrates that the First Amendment approach promotes free speech and democracy, equality, and societal harmony.
