Sudden cardiac arrest bill awaits Conn. governor's signature

A bill awaiting Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy's signature would raise awareness about sudden cardiac arrest in high school students.

The National Institute of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention launched a registry last fall to track deaths resulting from the condition in young people.

In Connecticut, the death of one high school athlete led to the passage of the state bill.
