Malloy scraps plan to send $55 refund checks to Conn taxpayers

Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy has abandoned his proposal to give a $55-per-person tax refund this year. This comes after it was announced on Monday that that state’s tax return revenue is below what had been anticipated.
