A report from the presidential task force strategizing ways to rebuild following Superstorm Sandy says communities should plan rebuilding for the coming climate change that includes more flooding and more storms.
In part, the report serves as a guide for spending the $50 billion dollars Washington sent to New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey following the storm. But it also makes a number of recommendations, such as beefing up electric grids and fuel distribution systems. The report suggests federal tax dollars won't be available for such improvements.
