Malloy announces $18 million in funding for microgrids

Connecticut says it's planning the first program in the nation to keep power on in critical buildings during outages. Governor Dannel Malloy announced in Bridgeport on Wednesday that eight towns and cities will be given $18 million to establish microgrids.
