Conn. Supreme Court agrees to hear Bridgeport school superintendent appeal

Ebong Udoma

The Connecticut Supreme Court agreed to hear an appeal on whether the superintendent of schools in the state's largest city is qualified for the job under state law. The court took no action as to whether Paul Vallas can remain Bridgeport Schools Superintendent while the case is being decided. This has created uncertainty as school officials prepare for the new school year.
