The Bridgeport Symphony's "Ode To Joy"

On Saturday, Dec. 12, the Greater Bridgeport Symphony will perform Beethoven's life-affirming Symphony No. 9, with the Mendelssohn Choir at the Klein in Bridgeport.  Kate Remington talked with conductor Eric Jacobsen about what the piece means to him, and why it's such a profound work.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she's been WSHU's Music Director since 2002.
