A recent study found that 1 in 7 people in Connecticut who have been diagnosed with skin cancer said they continued to use indoor tanning equipment after their diagnosis.

The study was by Yale University, and was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association. It was part of the reasoning for a change to Connecticut law that took effect October 1st, restricting who can use indoor tanning equipment.
