The Ridgefield Library will be hosting its annual RidgeCon event on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 10:00 am-4:00 pm. This in-person family event is a pop culture celebration of all fandoms, games, comics, and cosplay. Attendees are invited to dress up as their favorite pop culture characters and enter the Library’s cosplay contest. In addition to costumes, Pokémon tournaments, live music, crafts, games, scavenger hunts, raffles, and vendors, the Library will feature author/illustrator Steve Light at 1:00 pm. Steve is the author of over 15 picturebooks for children including “Swap,” which is featured in the Ridgefield Library’s Summer Reading Storywalk that can be found in Downtown Ridgefield.
