The Seymour Library is hosting a free quilting workshop to learn how to piece quilting patterns with Dawn Zillich. Dawn is a Burda Style Certified instructor and Oliso affiliate. The class will learn in five sessions different classic American quilting patterns.
The Library has a small number of sewing machines which limits class size. A skill with basic machine sewing is required. Call the Library or email sgarvey@biblio.org to register or for more information. The sessions will run for 2 hours on Tuesdays, except for the first class from 6 - 8 pm.
The first session on March 30th Thursday will teach the pattern "Rail Fence". The second session on April 18th will teach how to piece "Patchwork". The third session on May 2nd will teach the pattern "Bear Paw". The fourth session on May 9th will teach the pattern "Churn Dash". The fifth and final session on May 16th will teach the pattern "Sawtooth Star".
