Kente Cloth Paper Weaving lesson for children 8 years and older @ Danbury Library

Celebrate Black History Month in this art lesson for upper elementary grades. Students will learn where Kente cloth comes from, why it’s important, and how different patterns tell stories. They will also create their own Kente-inspired paper-weaving artwork featuring meaningful patterns. This lesson is adapted from Miacademy's Art Around the World course.
