Brookfield, CT — September 6th, 2025 — The Brookfield Library is thrilled to announce its 50th Anniversary celebration at its Whisconier location, marking five decades of service, learning, and community connection. Join us on Saturday, September 6th for a day packed with fun, entertainment, and heartfelt recognition—all free and open to the public.

Event Schedule Highlights:
11 a.m. – Love Your Library Family Storytime: Kick off the celebration with a special storytime and craft session dedicated to the magic of libraries. Perfect for young readers and their families.
1 p.m. – Jason Tardy: Comedy & Juggling Extravaganza: Prepare to be amazed! Jason Tardy brings his high-energy, laugh-out-loud performance featuring choreographed juggling, balancing acts, and jaw-dropping stunts—including fitting through a tennis racket and standing on a yoga ball. Exhilarating entertainment for all ages.
2:30 p.m – 50th Anniversary Reception: A heartfelt tribute to the Library’s legacy. All are invited to honor past and present employees, board members, and volunteers. Cake and refreshments will be served as we toast to the next chapter.
3:30 p.m. – Modal Express Live Performance: Groove into the evening with Modal Express, a beloved local band bringing back the sounds of the Seventies.
