4th Annual Fairfield County Student Social Justice Art Showcase
Stand Together Against Racism (S.T.A.R.), in partnership with The Glass House and the Carriage Barn Arts Center, is excited to invite you to our fourth annual Fairfield County Student Social Justice Art Showcase. This event celebrates how art, design, and architecture can inspire conversations about social justice.
All students—from any town in Fairfield County, CT, including college students—are welcome! Students share their creativity by submitting artwork that reflects a social justice topic that's important to them.What sets this apart is that this is not a competition. ALL student art is featured with a student written statement about what their art means and why their chosen social justice topics is important to them.
- Students - Go to star-ct.org to learn more or click on link to fill out a short pre-registration form if you plan to participate. Art is due in New Canaan by 11/2/25. There is no cost to participate.
The Opening Reception will be held at the Carriage Barn in New Canaan's Waveny Park on Saturday, November 8 from 1-3pm. Artists, their families, friends and the general public are welcome to attend. This is a joyful event with live music from local students. (No cost.)
