Ralph Vaughan Williams composed the score for a 1957 documentary titled The Age of Elizabeth, celebrating the grandeur of the Elizabethan era. Tonight, we’ll hear his concert work inspired by that music, alongside a sonata crafted by a Prussian princess and Mozart’s Coronation Concerto, a piece fit for royal celebrations.
