Classical Music Highlight: From The Island Of Misfit Instruments

Even in its heyday, the arpeggione was an odd instrument; it's kind of a cello/guitar hybrid. Tonight we'll hear the sonata Schubert wrote for it, performed by cellist David Finkel and pianist Wu Han. 

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she's been WSHU's Music Director since 2002.
