A pianist's take on the ballet

When music written for ballet is stripped down to a single piano, familiar melodies can sound surprisingly different. On the next Carnegie Hall Live, pianist Beatrice Rana transforms scenes from Romeo and Juliet and The Nutcracker into a recital for solo piano.
