Starting August 13, NPR will be changing the schedule of the newscasts on Morning Edition.
The changes are designed to deliver a live, in-the-moment experience, offering listeners the immersive, sound-rich features that set public radio apart and that listeners tell us they value deeply.
The most noticeable change you’ll hear is the national NPR newscast on the half hour, rather than two slightly shorter newscasts at 19 and 42 minutes past the hour. WSHU's local newscast will immediately follow the NPR newscast, and BBC will now air at 42 minutes past the hour.
