Revising The Endangered Species Act

The Trump administration wants to revise federal protections for endangered species by putting a cost on each plant or animal. The White House says the changes will make spending more transparent. Ten state attorneys general have joined conservation groups in challenging an early draft of the changes, saying the revisions put more wildlife at greater risk of extinction and ignore the threat of climate change.
