DPH To Reopen Investigation Of Silver Hill Hospital Suicide

The Connecticut Department of Public Health has reopened its probe into the 2018 suicide of a patient who overdosed on malaria pills at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan.

Leo Civitillo killed himself in February 2018.

Due to privacy concerns, hospital officials did not acknowledge that Civitillo was ever a patient.

An investigation by the Hartford Courant questions concerns in the hospital’s initial report and the health department’s delay in responding.

The patient’s family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Silver Hill Hospital.

Bill began his radio journey on Long Island, followed by stops in Schenectady, Bridgeport, Boston and New York City. He’s glad to be back on the air in Fairfield County, where he has lived with his wife and two sons for more than 20 years.
