Judges turned down several of Alex Jones’ requests to slow down ongoing civil cases brought by the families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims.

A Connecticut judge ruled last week that Jones had to give families access to financial and marketing documents related to his web broadcasts.

Families plan to use those documents in their defamation case against him. Jones had said the shooting was staged.

In Texas, Jones sought to appeal a separate lawsuit brought by Neil Heslin, the father of 6-year-old Jesse Lewis, who was killed at Sandy Hook. The judge denied the motion and ordered Jones to pay Heslin’s legal fees related to the appeal.

A motion of contempt was filed by Heslin when Jones refused to release broadcast documents and emails related to Sandy Hook.
