Beautiful Music NOW - Misteria Saxophone Quartet

Today you can enjoy the fluid, supple sounds of Misteria Saxophone Quartet, four talented young Russian women. These engaging performers begin their concert by processing into the hall, while playing Johann Sebastian Bach's BADINERIE from the Orchestral Suite No. 2 BWV1067. Their saxophone arrangements are a delightful take on familiar favorites.

Suzanne Bona is the host and executive producer of Sunday Baroque, a nationally syndicated weekly radio show of Baroque and early music which she originated on WSHU in 1987.
