World Cup fever grips New Haven, Conn, at outdoor viewing party at Pitkin Plaza

As World Cup fever grips the globe, fans in New Haven, Connecticut are watching the matches live outdoors on large TV screens in a downtown courtyard. The courtyard called Pitkin Plaza is now known as New Haven’s World Cup Village.  Host country Brazil took on Croatia in the opening match.
