The headline sounds a bit like a plot from a horror movie – hybrid wolf-dogs menacing a community in Southeastern Connecticut. But the state’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection says these animals really exist, and they’re looking into the report of a Ledyard resident who claimed a pack of hybrid wolf-dogs running loose threatened him.
