Skakel cannot be immediately released from prison while awaiting a new trial

A Connecticut judge ruled on Wednesday that Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel cannot be immediately released from prison while he awaits a new trial in the 1975 slaying of his neighbor Martha Moxley with a golf club. The judge did lift a stay clearing the way for Skakel to seek bail at a later date.
