Parents are welcome to hang out and mingle in our coffee room! (Parents of middle school youth are encouraged to stay for the duration of that party.)
This is an LGBTQIA+ event and allies are welcome 😊
If you have questions about accessibility or anything else, please visit our website for contact info: bethelctpride.com
Our social interaction badges will be returning for this event! Flip between a set of three colored badges to indicate whether you're open to talking, only want to interact with some people, or need a break where no one talks to you. This system is modified from a system from the Autistic Self Advocacy Network but also works well for people with social anxiety or sensory issues that can lead to meltdowns. You can signal nonverbally at a distance you need a break before getting back to the fun!
