Wilton Singers Presents “The Sound of Water: Where Harmony Meets the Tide” Spring Concert - May 1 & 2
The Wilton Singers are making a splash this Spring! Join us for our 43rd annual Spring Concert, “The Sound of Water: Where Harmony Meets the Tide,” on May 1st and 2nd, 2026—a feel-good musical evening inspired by water in all its beauty, energy, and emotion.
This year’s program flows from shimmering choral favorites to pop and folk gems, featuring music by acclaimed composers and iconic artists like Eric Whitacre and Paul Simon, plus fresh arrangements of crowd-pleasers including Billy Joel’s “River of Dreams,” Carly Simon’s “Let the River Run,” and the beloved folk classic “Shenandoah.”
Led by Music Director Kevin Cotellese, the Wilton Singers will be joined by an outstanding ensemble: pianist Lisa Bettke (Wilton High School alumna and former Madrigal Singer), percussionist Nicholas Albano, and bassist Rodger Bryan.
Concert producers Alison Conroy (past President of the Wilton Singers) and Harry Jordan share their excitement about this year’s theme:
“Water has inspired music for centuries—with its calm, its power, and everything in between. This program captures water’s many moods, from peaceful and reflective to joyful and uplifting. We’re excited to welcome audiences for a memorable evening of great music and company.”
Founded in 1983, the Wilton Singers is still going strong—now 40+ voices united by a love of harmony, great repertoire, and community.
This event is more than a concert—it’s a unique and joyful night out. Bring your own food and beverages and enjoy cabaret-style seating with your friends and family.
