What is a Portrait? Opening Reception
This exhibition recasts the questions that Amei Wallach asked in this winter’s “What Is A Landscape?” show, through the work of five artists. To Ellen Wexler, a portrait is a fleeting glimpse; to Lori Hollander an intense examination. Connie Fox imagines herself as her heroes and heroines; Jeremy Dennis portrays states of mind through storytelling; and Allan Wexler takes liberties with the senses. This exhibition runs daily from 26 February through the end of April.
