Theresa Thomason and the KC Sisters are teaming up for a one-time premiere musical collaboration you won’t want to miss! Experience soul, Motown, and gospel like never before in the acoustically thrilling, multi-level space at the American Mural Project. Thomason celebrated for her vibrant and powerful voice that is often compared to Mahalia Jackson and the late Whitney Houston, is joined by the five-member KC sisters, Connecticut favorites known for their amazing vocal harmonies and instrumental talent.

Theresa Thomason has appeared on Broadway, frequently performs with GRAMMY award winner Paul Winter, and has toured Europe with gospel groups and with her show, Sister Act, playing in more than a thousand sold-out theaters and churches in more than 150 cities. She has also performed live at the United Nations for the Dalai Lama. Keith Fluitt, who has performed with Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, and Patti LaBelle, joins Theresa for this performance.

Featured on Nickelodeon’s America’s Most Musical Family, the KC Sisters—who range in age from 19–25—bring incredible musical diversity, transcendent ease with multi-part harmonies, and precision with a variety of instruments, including piano, guitar, bass, violin, ukulele, and drums. The sisters are songwriters, Nashville recording artists, and TV personalities.

Doors open at 7pm for ticket holders to explore the exhibit—a three-dimensional mural 120 feet long and five stories high—from all three viewing levels.
