The Atelier at Flowerfield invites you to our last exhibition of the year: the 6th Annual Invitational, a juried exhibition. The competition is open to artists 16years or older and artists may work in any medium, with the exception of photography and video.

The Opening Reception was held on Thursday, November 6th and we congratulate the following winners:

First Place: Dominique Treboux, “Walking a Cornish Bay’, oil
Second Place: Adam Smith, “Homage to Fiedler”, acrylic on canvas
Third Place: Patricia Morrison, “Silence Before the Storm”, watercolor

Honorable Mentions went to: Stella Elliston, “Hay Bales in the Berkshires”, oil on canvas; Leslie Barnett, “Winter Light”, oil; Judi Culbertson, “Subway Ballet”, oil.

Holiday raffle baskets, featuring the tools and materials necessary for the many classes The Atelier offers, are also on display. You may purchase one ticket for $5 or five tickets for $20. The winners will be selected on the last day of the exhibition, Thursday, December 11th. One of these baskets would make a great gift! A winning basket would also prepare you with all the materials needed to fulfill your New Year’s resolution to take that art class you’ve always wanted.
