The Friends of Music at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, New Canaan, CT, present The Jeff Franzel Trio & Friends Friday, May 15th, 2026, at 7:00 PM, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 111 Oenoke Ridge, New Canaan, CT.

Jeff Franzel is a multi-talented songwriter and composer who began his career as a jazz pianist, accompanying such artists as Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Mel Tormé. Jeff has had over 20 top ten singles and 275 recordings worldwide, and his Jeff Franzel Trio is well-known and popular in the New York City jazz world. Jeff's first ever recorded song was Taylor Dayne's "Don't Rush Me" which was a #2 pop hit. Jeff had a top 10 AC hit "You've Got A Way" with Kathy Troccoli and a #1 Contemporary Christian Dove Nominee "Love Was Never Meant To Die.” Jeff also had hits with The Temptations, Phyllis Hyman, Louise, NSYNC, Shawn Colvin, Clay Aiken, Josh Groban, Placido Domingo, Pope John Paul II and Rhys Lewis.

Jeff’s group is completed by Eric Halverson on drums, and Adam Armstrong on the bass. Also joining the Trio that evening: vocalist Eva Slossberg and clarinettist David Gottlieb.

The event will take place in Morrill Hall. Seating is limited.
