RMS Titanic: A Date with Destiny

RMS Titanic: A Date with Destiny

In 1912 the magnificent RMS Titanic set sail. Today we have the incredible opportunity to delve into the highlights surrounding the ship. From its construction to preparations for sailing--from its brave crew to its diverse passengers, we can uncover the gripping tales of Titanic's journey.

Join Connecticut Historian John Cilio at the Seymour Public Library as he delves into the voyage and how the courageous crew battles to keep the ship afloat. Discover the fate of passengers sailing to Connecticut--some survived the tragedy. Was it destiny that led to Titanic's demise? Or simply a stroke of bad luck and misfortune? We all know what happened--but there is so much more to the story.
