Town Players of Newtown is proud to announce its upcoming production of "The Country House," the acclaimed comedy-drama by Pulitzer Prize–winning playwright Donald Margulies. Directed by Terry Sagedy and produced by Michele Rosa and Brian DeToma, the show will run from December 5 through December 20, 2025.

Set in the idyllic Berkshires during the Williamstown Theatre Festival, "The Country House" brings together a family of actors, artists, and complicated personalities under one roof. What begins as a casual gathering quickly reveals long-buried tensions, unresolved grief, shifting loyalties, and romantic entanglements — all explored with Margulies' blend of humor, sharp insight, and emotional truth.
