One Book One Town Author Event with Angeline Boulley

Please join Fairfield Public Library in welcoming Angeline Boulley, author of this year's One Book One Town selection, Warrior Girl Unearthed. Ms. Boulley will discuss her coming-of-age thriller set on an island in Michigan and involving a young woman who faces missing Indigenous women, a family embroiled in a murder investigation, and grave robbers threatening the remains of her Anishinaabe tribe members. The book is a stand-alone follow-up to Boulley's 2021 debut novel, Firekeeper's Daughter.

Angeline Boulley is an enrolled member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians and a storyteller who writes about her Ojibwe community in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Please register for this event.
