The Chamber of Commerce of the Moriches is proud to announce that the Grand Marshal for the 2024 Veteran's Parade to be held on November 10 at 2pm in East Moriches is Pete Jepson, who served in Vietnam in the Navy. He was nominated by both the Vietnam Veterans of America and the Patriot Guard Riders.

Mr. Jepson regularly serves as an Honor Guard to accompany fallen soldiers from an airport to a funeral home and/or a cemetery. He also stands in for family for those who have none.

The Parade starts at 2 pm at the War Memorial at the corner of Adelaide Avenue in East Moriches, and proceeds east to Soldier and Sailor’s Memorial Park, also on Montauk Highway. A short service will be conducted at the park.

All veterans are invited to participate.
