In this collaboration between HFFC and WSHU radio, Brenda Wineapple, historian and author of The 100th Anniversary of the Scopes Trial and Its Relevance to History offers new insights into the Scopes Monkey trial and the cultural divisions within American society then and today. Wineapple's book is one of the Chicago Tribune's Ten Best Books of the Year, and named as the New Yorker Best Book of the Year.
