Jewelry Appraisal and Consignment Event with Rago to Benefit the Weston Historical Society

Jewelry Appraisal and Consignment Event with Rago to Benefit the Weston Historical Society

Appointment Only – Tuesday, February 15, 2022 Join Rago, a leading auction house featured on PBS’ The Antiques Road Show, at their 3rd Jewelry Appraisal and Consignment Event on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 10am to 5pm at the Weston Historical Society, 104 Weston Road in Weston, CT. Appointments required, no walk-ins please. RSVP to Robin Daum from Rago at robin@ragoarts.com or call 609 460 3619. Please note that Rago is scheduling appointments, not the historical society. Rago will donate a portion of its commission on property consigned from this event to The Weston Historical Society. What’s your jewelry worth? It is always wise financial planning to know the current value of your jewelry tucked away in jewelry and safe deposit boxes. Dianne Batista, jewelry director at Rago, will be visiting Weston Historical Society and can help you to learn more about your precious jewelry and make an informed decision on whether it may be a good time to consider auction. Masks are required for all attendees, regardless of vaccination status and social distancing protocols will be in place. This is to keep you and everyone safe. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Parking for the event is in the historical society’s lot, which can be accessed from High Acre Rd., off Weston Rd. Event takes place in the red building next to the parking lot. Rago was founded by David Rago, a preeminent expert in the field of American ceramics and art pottery. David began dealing in American decorative ceramics at the age of seventeen. He has authored several titles on the subject, lectures nationally and has appeared regularly on the PBS series, The Antiques Roadshow, since its inception in 1996. With more than five decades of experience handling 20th and 21st century works, he and partner Suzanne Perrault, another regular on The Antiques Roadshow, and their team of qualified specialists, researchers, and property handlers have distinguished Rago as the top venue for American ceramics as well as for the sale of fine art, modern design, decorative arts, fine jewelry, contemporary glass, and silver. For more information on the Jewelry Appraisal and Consignment Event with Rago, please contact Rago at robin@ragoarts.com or call 609 460 3619. The Weston Historical Society would like to thank its annual sponsors: Fairfield County Bank and KMS Partners at Compass, as well as the Daniel E. Offutt, III Charitable Trust. The Weston Historical Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
