World renowned cellist Diego Carneiro performs with soprano Jurate Svedaite and Dr. Dylan Sauerwald in Rotary's continuing Opus for Peace initiative at the recently renovated Greens Farms Church in Westport on 8/13/25 at 7 PM. While this is a free concert, contributions will be encouraged to support the Youth Orchestra of Ecuador which Diego founded to spread the joy of music and peace to the Amazon Basin. A recent CT Rotary program yielded nearly 200 donated used musical instruments to be shipped to Quito, Ecuador to be used by this orchestra. A reception with the artists will follow the concert.
