"Honoring Women of History" featuring Melanie Kirkpatrick
In partnership with the International Women's Forum of Connecticut, Fairfield Public Library is pleased to present special guest Melanie Kirkpatrick, CT resident, journalist, author, and former Wall Street Journal Op-Ed editor. Melanie will discuss her book, "Lady Editor: Sarah Josepha Hale and the Making of the Modern American Woman," a historical biography about the editor of Godey's Lady's Book and the most influential woman in America in the nineteenth century.
