“Runway by STAR – Connecting Threads, the Fabric of Us” is an inspiring event to be held at the historic Waveny House in New Canaan, CT, which is dedicated to uniting the worlds of fashion, culture, and social impact. This gathering celebrates how individuality and diversity come together to create something truly extraordinary, a tapestry woven from every experience, culture, and story.

The event features innovative runway presentations, dynamic panel discussions, and interactive experiences that spotlight multicultural influences, body diversity, and authentic representation in design. Designers and thought leaders will explore what it means to make fashion accessible, inclusive, and reflective of real communities.

True to our theme, “Connecting Threads, the Fabric of Us,” the event also addresses the vital role of sustainability. Attendees will discover conversations and showcases on minimizing fashion’s environmental impact and championing responsible, ethical practices.
